Description: Model of a coffin stand; belongs to a set of funeral procession, 49 pieces. Earthenware, moulded and sculpted, with aubergine and turquoise glazes in the style of Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD).
The coffin - as an object too sacred for direct representation - is not shown in the procession.
