Description: Vase, one of a pair (to LL 6717), of baluster form, with cylindrical neck, flaring mouth, and spreading base. Painted in brilliant famille verte enamels with rockery and a pair of phoenixes, peach trees, magnolia and peony in flower, and flying birds. On neck, similar designs. On the shoulders, a brocade border of prunus blossoms on dotted green ground. Above the base, a band of prunus blossoms on dotted green ground, and under the lip, a band of green key fret. Empty double ring under the base.
