Description: Figure of Shou Xing, one of a pair (to LL 6758), the God of Long Life, in a mandarin robe. Painted in famille rose enamels. The robe richly brocaded with formal patterns in grounds of red, pink, green, and blue. The hands restored. The head is removable. A hole at the back for offerings.
Bought from Frank Partridge, 14 August 1918, £300 (for a pair; LL 6758 & LL 6759), gifted to the Lady Lever Art Gallery, 1922.
