Description: Reverse painting on glass, one of set of four (with LL 8826, LL 8827 & LL 8828); finely painted pastoral scene with landscape, figures and animals. At the left, a young Western lady sitting at a brook, turning her head towards a shepherd, and a flock of sheep. A windmill on a hill and a cathedral in the distance illuminated by the light of sunset. Original Western plaster moulded and gilt frame.
