Description: Reverse painting on glass, one of set of four (with LL 8825, LL 8826 & LL 8827); finely painted pastoral scene with landscape, figures and animals.
A Western maid with a child on her arm and two baskets, accompanied by another child holding a stick. Sheep in the foreground and on the left a man walking under a ruined archway towards a city in a distance. Original Western plaster moulded and gilt frame.
