Description: Small vase bottle with trailing sprays of creeper on the neck in lustre colours in a black ground. Signed on a silver plaque Kyoto Namikawa.

Namikawa Yasuyuki (1845-1927), one of the greatest shippoo artists, started a company in Kyoto in the 1870s.
