Description: Snuff bottle in form of a vase with ovoid body and neck slightly contracted; two handles in the form of archaic dragons running the length of the sides; crystal; engraved with Shou (longevity) characters and borders of Ru yi heads and pointed leaves.

A Lady of Title Collection; her sale, Christie's, 14 March, 1916, lot 58; purchased by Frank Partridge for Lever; £10 (for the whole lot); by whom gifted to the Lady Lever Art Gallery, 1922.
