Description: Belt plaque, one of a pair (to LL 9510), of "mutton-fat" jade, elaborately carved and pierced with design of dragons in lotus scrolls. Mounted in open-work frame of carved wood, with stands in which are deer and pine tree and scroll borders.

Provenance
Purchased on 25 May 1916, £105 (together with a set of four fine Chippendale mahogany carved hall chairs, with "eagle" heads and key pattern seat borders). LLAG Invoice file No. 68.
