About this object

This flower pot, in the form of three bamboo canes, was made in caneware but it was also made in jasper. By producing the same shaped pot in different bodies and colours Wedgwood could offer a greater variety of goods for his customers. This version, shown on the extreme left of the photograph, has painted decoration around the base and also on the bamboo canes themselves.
