About this object

One of a pair of tear drop shaped earrings made of blue jasper with white jasper sprigging, depicting Diana in her chariot. The metal is gold and there is a pearl mounted at the top of the tear drop.
LL 2261 is the other earring in the pair. Its decoration depicts Apollo in a chariot.
