Education & Communities
Would you like to join our education network , Teachers’ View?
We need teachers to help develop and trial of our educational provision for schools. We want to ask you what you think about our free sessions, facilities and resources. You can contribute through email, telephone and the website, or by attending regular network meetings and showcase events.
Teachers’ View members have been involved in the development of the Museum of Liverpool every step of the way. They have contributed to the creation of interactives throughout the Museum to meet a range of learning styles that really engage our young people and help their understanding of the city’s history. The group have informed the development of the education spaces, a dedicated gallery for early years and a 38-metre timeline of Liverpool history. They also shaped and piloted with us, our series of museum-led sessions which will be on offer from 2012.
