This charter of rights was created by Lydia S from Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School in Liverpool. The text reads:
"Put 3 or more Global Action Points:
- To stop wars between countries eg Iraq and America
- To make sure that there is democracy and peace all over the world
- To help the children all over the world from becoming street children and orphansPut 3 or more Local Action Points:
- To improve on proper medical facilities, construction of roads, good water supply and electricity
- To improve on better school facilities and furnitures such as chairs, tables, labs, computers etc
- To put a price control on everything we buy in the market "
* To let children speak freely and give them the right to say what they want where they want (with some exceptions eg don't let them swear etc).
* All organisations concerned with the children should work towards what is best for the child
* Governments should respect Children's right to name, a nationality and family ties."
