The Sir Thomas Street (on the left) and Victoria Street fronts of Liverpool's former Head Post Office are shown here. The building sustained serious war damage and the top two floors were later removed as a result. The facades of the lower stories remain and have been incorporated into the shopping development the Met Quarter.
Conservation Technologies at the National Conservation Liverpool were commisioned by the Met Quarter to help conserve and redisplay the memorial from the former Post Office in the following linked projects:
