Charles Ogilvy was probably a seafarer who also had some artistic talent. He is listed in the local directories from 1868 as a 'marine artist' but very few paintings by him are known.
'Queen' was built by in 1856. In May 1891 she collided with 'SS Sailor Prince' in the Crosby channel and sank. She was raised and remained in the pilot service until 1898 when she became a fishing vessel. She was wrecked off Iceland in April 1933.
