Arthur Owen was an engineer on the SS Zealand of the Donald Currie Line.

Arthur Owen was an engineer on the SS Zealand of the Donald Currie Line. His ship was in Hamburg harbour just before the outbreak of the First World War and he was arrested on 31 July 1914 and interned at the civilian prison camp at Ruhleben near Berlin. He was transferred to Dr. Weiler’s Sanatorium at Charlottenburg where he died of tuberculoses on 17 July 1916.
