75th anniversary commemoration weekend

During the first week of July 1942, the Arctic convoy PQ17 heading for Russia with vital war supplies was attacked by enemy submarines and aircraft. Out of 35 merchant ships, only 11 made it to port.

Join us at the Maritime Museum to commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of the Arctic convoy crews with a talk, crafts and performance.
