Take a closer look at the creatures in the waters of the Royal Albert Dock with our team of museum experts.

Using the Border Force underwater camera, which was originally used by officers to detect hidden contraband attached to the outside of ship's hulls, visitors can get a closer look at the creatures which inhabit the Dock and gain an insight into its unique ecosystem.

On the quayside you can might also be able to see jellyfish, prawns, crabs, mussels and other creatures in tanks.

This event is linked to the collections in the 'Seized! The Border and Customs uncovered' gallery at Merseyside Maritime Museum, working with staff and students from the Marine Biology team at Liverpool John Moores University.

This event is part of our Half term, Seized! and Mersey River Festival event series.
