This beautifull hand drawn animation follows the story of ten year old Ben who lives with his father Conor, a lighthouse keeper, and his young sister Saoirse. Their mother has disapeared and Ben has a resentful relationship with Saorise who is mute. Unknown to all of them Saorise is a selkie like her mother, who reluctant to leave her family had to return to the sea.

This free family screening is a Celtic treat about love, acceptance and the resilliance of children.

This event is part of our Scalarama event series.
