About this object

These state of the art coats are worn by the members of the modern Liverpool Pilots Service. The Liverpool pilots flag can be seen above the left breast. Some of the special features include an integrated lifejacket with automatic inflation (by pulling a cord), a safety light and strobe light, and a concealed whistle. Liverpool pilots also wear a dark blue or black suit.

The coat was donated by the manufacturer - SeaSafe Systems Ltd.
