Iron Age (Prehistoric)

The Iron Age was the period from around 700 BC to the Roman invasion in 42 AD. In the Iron Age people started to live in permanent farmsteads rather than moving around depending on the season. People changed the landscape, creating fields surrounded by ditches and other boundaries.
