Little Crosby

PLACENAME: Crosebi (first mentioned 1086 in the Domesday Book). Village with a cross. From Old Norse Krossabýr. Crossebeyam 1094, Little Crosseby 1243.

A stone rotary quern used for grinding corn in the Post Medieval period was found in Little Crosby.
