Wallasey Town Hall (1914-20) on the banks of the River Mersey at Seacombe was designed by Briggs, Wolstenholme and Thornley, who also designed the Port of Liverpool Building which stands on the other side of the Mersey.

Poulton Mill (Post Medieval, pre 1663) stood adjacent to the present Mill Lane, and was demolished in the early 19th century.
