Shipwrecked

Move your mouse over Crackers the crab to hear him talk!

Can you escape the island?

Past exhibition, held from 15 July 2006 to 20 May 2007

Imagine you are caught in a terrible storm at sea. Your boat capsizes and you are washed up on an uninhabited island. How will you survive? How will you escape?

Families were able to put their survival skills to the test in the former exhibition Shipwrecked, held at the Merseyside Maritime Museum from 15 July 2006 to 20 May 2007. In the exhibition visitors were marooned on an island where just staying alive was quite an adventure!

Crackers, a friendly crab who lived on the island, helped visitors to learn important skills for island life, through a mixture of fun interactive games and useful survival tips.
