My first memory of getting to the city centre from Fazakerley in north Liverpool was very much getting a train to Liverpool Exchange Station and walking down Northfields past a shop called the Wizard’s Den, which was a joke shop that sold everything from stink bombs to masks and things like that and that was in Northfields. That was an 11 or 12 year old's view of arriving in the city centre.
