Now Blacklers I remember because that’s where I always got my school uniform from, so you’d go there for your blazer and be forced to buy a blazer that was about three sizes bigger than you needed because you had to grow into it at that age. The other famous thing I remember about Blackers was it had a rocking horse, a very large rocking horse on an upper storey and you could go on that wooden rocking horse. I think if you look nowadays, I think it’s a Wetherpsoons public house on the corner there and I think if you look in there you’ll see a rocking horse which is a memory back to the rocking horse in Blacklers store.
