There used to be a pub there and all the old timers will tell you about it. I think they used to call it The Guinness House and at 12 o’clock they used to put like 12, 14 pints of Guinness on a tray, just waiting for the dockers to come off. The woman used to have a great big silver stick that used to go along the top and just take the head off the ale. I’ve only seen that done once and I think that was the corner of ‘Sparlie’.
