It was a dockers' café. It was a big one on the corner and it was like two, they had two floors for the café because they had the downstairs, ground floor, and then upstairs and then above that was the living quarters. Also, they used to have a boat in the Duke Dock, Wapping basin because that was used in the 60s before they developed all this, that was used for a base for people with boats and they used to take them there and do repairs on them.
