Transcript for Colin Drakefield

You’d get a lot of the carters and wagon drivers and stuff like that. They’d have to park and back up, while they waited to be loaded or unloaded because they didn’t just go in, they all had to take their turn. There’d be wagons parked up everywhere, all around Canning Place because there was a big haulage firm as well on the corner of Canning Place, somewhere here (indicates on a map), called Walkers.
