It was the old Theatre Royal that had been converted. It had a classical facade like this (draws on a map). There were doors at the bottom, it had a rusticated base and columns like this and up at the top other things. Here (indicates on map), three windows, big ones and then there there were wonderful sculptures which will have gone to somebody’s garden somewhere of the arts. That was a thing that was like that on plan (draws on map), curved on plan and the people would be that big. It was a cracking building. It was 1804; it was in the classic tradition.
