Russell: "All the catering side of Cunard, CPR, PS&C, all used to drink there; not the down below engineers or the deck crowd, just the catering, it was just known as their pub for some reason."
Interviewer: "So people had their own groups in a sense?"
Russell: "Yes, they seemed to go there all the time. It was known as the all ‘Cunard Yanks’ because it was run from New York, there all the time, back and forward all the time. So they all used to drink there in The Crown."
