Edouardo Fernandez was born in Spain in 1893 and his home town was Seville.
He was probably a professional merchant seaman and he signed on as a fireman in the Engineering Branch on board the
Lusitania at New York on 30th April 1915, just in time for her last fateful voyage. His rate of pay was £1-0s-0d (£1) per month, which seems to have been much lower than the other fireman on board.
He survived the sinking.
