Maritime Dining Rooms is one of ten Liverpool restaurants recommended in the Michelin Guide to Great Britain and Ireland 2010. The guide praises the "Well- priced, appealing menu of tasty , modern brasserie dishes" as well as the great views.
The press have also been very complementary.
In the Liverpool Confidential Food and Drink Awards 2009 chef Nigel Smith's blackberry fool was awarded best pudding.
