The Museum of Liverpool's archaeology department has worked on numerous community archaeology projects across Merseyside and beyond.

We are a non-profit making organisation specialising in the archaeology of the north west. Our community archaeology work has contributed significantly to the understanding of the region's past whilst providing an exciting means for local people to be directly involved in exploring their past.

Based within the Museum of Liverpool, with access to collections and with staff skilled in excavation, building recording, and desk-based research, we are well placed to engage local people in their archaeology.
