The Field Archaeology unit have excavated Roman sites across Merseyside, including Irby, Ochre Brook and Court Farm.

The results of research into Merseyside during the Roman period were presented in the Living with the Romans exhibition| at the former Museum of Liverpool Life in 2005-2006.
