Monday 20 November is Trans* Day of Remembrance (TDOR), an annual event remembering those who have been killed or have taken their own lives due to transphobic violence or discrimination.

Join us for a special tour of Tales from the city highlighting local trans people’s stories and objects within the exhibition.

This tour will be followed by a wreath laying service and minute's silence at 2pm by the window of The People's Republic gallery on the second floor.

*Definition: trans/transgender – an umbrella term for people whose gender identity and/or gender expression differs from the sex they were assigned at birth.

This event is part of the Tales from the city exhibition and our Tales from the city event series.
