Join a member of our education team to get hands on with the past and discover what Liverpool was like during the Victorian period, a time when Liverpool and Britain changed dramatically! In this fun interactive session you will get the chance to handle objects from the 19h century and immerse yourself into Victorian court life thought the sights, sounds and smells of Liverpool in 1870!

Have you ever wondered what it was like to live during the Victorian period? Have you ever held an old English penny from 1862? Have you ever smelt a Victorian candle? Have you ever dressed like a Victorian?

Find out exactly what 'wet and solid nuisance' was, what was in the drinking water, and exactly what went into a 'privy' in this fun hands-on session.
