Here you can see the reverse side of a publicity photograph of The Beatles on a Liverpool ferry, which is inscribed and signed “To all the girls at C.H.V.S.” [sic] (Childwall Valley High School, Liverpool) from John, Paul, George and Ringo.

This group of friends regularly went to see the Beatles at The Cavern lunchtime sessions. The girls wrote to recommend The Beatles to TV producers and helped to secure their appearance on the 'Tuesday Rendezvous' and BBC’s 'Talent Spot' programmes in December 1962.
