A unique collection of fifteen paintings by the celebrated Liverpool-born author, Beryl Bainbridge, which were displayed together for the first time.

Beryl Bainbridge was one of the UK’s most famous novelists and an accomplished painter. The exhibition explored the paintings’ connections to Bainbridge’s best-loved novels, family, lovers and life in Liverpool.

A new book , 'Beryl Bainbridge: Artist, Writer, Friend' written by her life long friend Psiche Hughes, is available to buy from the online shop | and at the Museum of Liverpool.
