Living with the Romans
23 July to 31 December 2005 at Museum of Liverpool Life
Living With The Romans is a fantastic new exhibition about to open at the Museum of Liverpool Life. Discover
what life was like for people living in Liverpool and the North West during the Roman period, almost 2,000 years
ago.
Explore an authentic roundhouse, meet the ancestors - Broccus, Eluned, Veratrix and Gwenfrew - and come
face-to-face with the skull of a man who lived at that time - Leasowe Man.
Also, you can be one of the first people in nearly 2,000 years to see Leasowe Man's face - his head is being
reconstructed specially for this exhibition.
And remember, like all National Museums Liverpool exhibitions and events, Living With The Romans is
completely FREE!
