'The Secret Life of Smithdown' is an exciting project exploring the local neighbourhood. The project aims to discover how local shop keepers and shops have helped shape the area and the diverse lives of local residents past and present.

Smithdown Road in South Liverpool links the vibrant, diverse areas of Toxteth, Wavertree and Allerton. The road has changed considerably over time, and still continues to change today. Many different people live and shop along it, including students at Liverpool's three universities.
