The Museum of Liverpool is everyone's museum and has a continuing programme of partnership projects and displays involving the local community.
Find out below how local people have helped to shape the current museum - and how you could take part in our future projects. You can also get involved by becoming a member or becoming a volunteer.
Galkoff's and the Secret Life of Pembroke Place project
The Galkoff's and the Secret Life of Pembroke Place project has brought to life the stories of the people who lived in and around Pembroke Place. More than 70 volunteers were involved in the project, undertaking historical research and archaeological investigations.
You can see the results of this research in the Galkoff’s and the secret life of Pembroke Place exhibition at the Museum of Liverpool.
