"Meccano gives boys the secrets of the world's wonderful engineering structures"
Frank Hornby

The 'Frank Hornby Experience' is an annual event celebrating the life and achievenments of Maghull's most famous resident. The weekend features static and working models of the Binns Road products including Meccano, Hornby trains and Dinky. There is also a Hornby Heritage Trail around local places of interest, including Hornby's homes and final resting place.

'Frank Hornby experience' 2008
