The earliest of the classic hairdryers displayed is the Ormond E1022, which was bought in 1958 from Downes and Davies, Stanley Street, Liverpool. It is made of Bakelite and has a handy mirror and comb within the vanity case.
Later hairdryers became much more attractive using brighter colours and innovative designs.
