i amvery thankful for those poplewho fought for me and loads of other people i think we ar all very thankful that we are all here today.
This is REALLY sad
i wasnt around whan the war was happenning but alli will say is that i respect everyone who was part of the war <3
The memories of being told many stories about the war in school and family members the respect will always be there for the ones who faught for us.
It sems to have brought hundreds together
MY GREAT UNCLE WAS IN THE WAR BEFORE HE DIED AND HE FOUGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY WHICH IS WHY I UNDERSTAND THE BRAVERY THAT OUR SOLDIERRS HAVE AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN MY HEART

my great grandad faught in ww2 and survived but unfortuantley he passed away a couple of years ago R.I.P Tommo
i dont remember it,i wasnt born then.
my great grand father was inthe navy in the 2nd world war and he kept bible where he wrote in the margin what happen every day.
my great grandad fought in the somme and he died aged 22

My Great grandfather fought in Italy and had to bury all of his friends after they were masscred by automatic machine guns

I remember what you get told in history lessons in the 2nd world war but when my grandadtold me his story, itwas reading history differently.
