Civil War armour

This armour is reputed to have been worn at the Battle of Edgehill in 1642, which was the first main battle of the English Civil War. The battle ended when both sides decided to withdraw due to exhaustion. They each lost about 1,500 men in the battle, most of whom were infantrymen.
