Making plans

The exhibitions officer co-ordinates the exhibition but curators like me decide which items to include. Some objects belong to the museum, but we have to borrow others from different museums and private collections.

The curator visits those objects to make sure that they are what we want for our exhibition. This could mean flying to museums on the other side of the world.

If we want the piece we officially arrange to borrow and move it to the museum for our exhibition.
