Other things you should remember or think about are:
- Faces change from minute to minute. This could be because of the sitter's or artist's
feelings, the surroundings or the light.
- The person in the portrait (sitter) may not have paid for the painting. These are called
non-commissioned portraits. Non-commissioned portraits are sometimes experimental or unusual.
- You don't have to be young and pretty to be in a portrait.
