Animals Online Exhibition

This online exhibition looks at some of the many animal-related pieces in our collections.

The objects and animals featured come from many different parts of the world. Some are real animals and others are man made representations. Through them we can consider our relationships with the natural world; whether viewing animals as mythical creatures or gods, as thinking and feeling beings with almost human natures, beasts for us to do with as we will, or as interesting and beautiful creatures which we must understand in order to protect.

There are many more specimens, artworks and artefacts on display at our venues. Why not explore them further?
