Blue felt bedspread decorated with appliqué, embroidery, and drawing featuring the text 'All You Need Is Love' and characters from the Yellow Submarine animated film.

This is the bedspread from John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Montreal 'Bed-In For Peace' in room 1742 of the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Montreal in May 1969.

The bedspread was made by Christine Kemp who designed it as a wall hanging for her studio a few weeks before the bed-in. Christine presented the piece to John and Yoko on the first day of the event in a spontaneous expression of friendship and solidarity.

Purchased for the Museum of Liverpool collection in 2005. This bedspread is now on display in the Wondrous Place gallery.
