After The Beatles

The story of The Beatles didn't finish when the band split up in 1970. Their solo projects in the decades since then have included John Lennon's collaborations with Yoko Ono and Paul McCartney's triumphant return to his home town for the Let It Be Liverpool concert in 1990.

Below you can also see a few examples of how the city of Liverpool has celebrated the fab four's lives in museums and award ceremonies, and mourned the untimely death of John Lennon.
